Choosing a domain name for SEO purposes

When choosing a domain name there are three considerations to consider. Does the domain have links already, is it brand-able and does it have keywords in the domain already.

Buying a domain that has links already makes getting links already a lot easier. But you have to check the back link profile to make sure it’s not a domain that would be penalised for them links.

I would always pick a brand-able domain over a keyword rich domain that has an initial benefit. A brandable domain as a choice means the domain still ranks well even if you change the direction of the business.
